CVE-2026-3502: TrueConf Client Download of Code Without Integrity Check Vulnerability

Advisory generated from the CVE record, CISA, Exploit Observer and VEDAS: what it is, whether it is exploited, who is affected, and how to fix and detect it.

Generated by VEDAS. Scores as of 2026-11-01 19:19 UTC. Rebuilt every few hours from cve-scores, CISA KEV and vedas-signatures. How this works and its limits.

What it is

TrueConf Client downloads application update code and applies it without performing verification. An attacker who is able to influence the update delivery path can substitute a tampered update payload. If the payload is executed or installed by the updater, this may result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the updating process or user.

Description quoted from the CVE record (assigned by checkpoint, published 2026-03-30).

Weakness: CWE-494: Download of Code Without Integrity Check.

How it can be exploited

Exploitable from an adjacent network with low attack complexity needing high privileges and a user must take an action. Impact: confidentiality high, integrity high, availability low. CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:L

CISA assessment (SSVC): CISA assesses exploitation as active. Automatable: no. Technical impact: total.
